We already know that Audrina Patridge isn't sure who her competition will be when the reality star shimmies her way onto Dancing With the Stars, but Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is pretty sure he's going to be the guido to beat.
"I definitely got a chance," the dude boasted when we asked him about his DWTS spot recently. "I'm an athlete, I love the camera, I love people, so as long as I practice, I've got a shot."
But how do his Jersey Shore castmates—the ones who've seen his moves thanks to a little Seaside hotspot called Karma—think the Sitch will do in his dancing debut?
"Depends how good his training is and if he follows through with it—things like that," Vinny fessed. "Because I've seen some people that can't dance, and they've gone pretty far in the show."
Not sounding too confident there, Vin. But he's not the only one. Pauly D—the Situation's BFF at the Shore—was also weary of the abtastic partier's ability to waltz:
"I don't know...It's going to be good. I want front row seats to that. It's going to be hard for him. It's not fist pumping, you know."
Where's the love, fellas? Aren't you supposed to have his back through thick and thin, hot tub hookups and beach-front brawls? Buxom babe JWoww just sends Mike off with a warning:
"He better represent us good, because he has to represent our family."
Hey, even if his buds don't think he can Salsa with the best of ‘em, we're sure the Situation (who tells us his main competition is himself and that he plans to bring the "it factor" to the semi-star-studded extravaganza) won't let it hurt his ego.
Plus, new girl Deena at least thinks he's got a shot.
"Oh, I have seen Sitch's dance moves," she laughed. "Hopefully he practices some more, but I know Mike, and he owns anything he does, so he could fist pump his way to the championship."
Yeah, whatever. We still say it shoulda been Snooki in there...hair pumping.
