Making his first public remarks since his Sunset Strip bust, the superstar rapper headed to Twitter Saturday to let fans know he's "back in the lab." No, that's not a reference to his alleged Ecstasy-possessing ways. Instead, he's close to wrapping up his seventh album, King Uncaged, which he put on hold to focus on his recent cinematic turn in Takers.
But, it wasn't all studio work for T.I.
The rapper, who is facing possible probation-violation charges over his arrest, also made time to visit his niece Friday, who is receiving treatment for cancer.
"Went to see my niece in the hospital & she made my day!!! She's fighting cancer & worried about how I'm doing," T.I. captioned a twitpic of the visit. "Uncle Tip rides 4u…Thru It All, No Matter What!!!"
