Now mind you, we're no rocket scientists over here, but it seems to us if you don't want that to happen, you would have had photographer Karl Lagerfeld change up the stance ever so slightly to avoid it looking like a duplicate of the one Annie Leibovitz incorporated in her now-iconic shot.
You know, kinda like when Britney Spears stripped down and showed off her second baby bump on Harper's Bazaar in 2006. At least then there was some small effort made to create an image we hadn't completely seen before.
Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery. It's just always a little nicer when the imitator is willing to give credit where credit is due.
