A new crop of heiresses are trying to get our attention. Will they?

Now that Casey Johnson is dead and Paris Hilton is over, who are the new spoiled rich heiress types we can look forward to seeing?

If by "seeing" you mean "enjoying rich people stumbling down a red carpet wearing Giuseppe Zanottis that may or may not be theirs," you could be looking at a relatively dying breed.

For every debutante trainwreck or lavish spender waiting to dominate Page Six in coming years, there are a good half-dozen heiresses who seem to enjoy posing for Vanity Fair while sober.

But about those trainwrecks and lavish spenders...

We have, of course, to keep an eye on Courtenay Semel, who turns 30 this year. This is the daughter of former Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel, the ex-girlfriend of the late Casey Johnson, and a person who once reportedly lit Johnson's hair on fire. (Semel denies that.) Semel reported to rehab in March, with her publicist citing "exhaustion," and once reportedly punched a rent-a-cop in Vegas. (She also recently shared her grief about Johnson with E! News.)

Onward.

There is a Russian Paris Hilton, but other than buying properties, nobody is really sure what makes Anna Anisimova the Russian Paris Hilton. Or maybe they do.

Anisimova, daughter of Russian metal magnate Vasily Anisimov, likes money, and she's fond of pricey vacation rentals in places like the Hamptons. She also likes to do stuff like walk into a store and drop $62,000 on a watch. And oh: She's also about 24.

Of course, if you want to consider Kim Kardashian an heiress, she's our very own famous-for-being-famous Paris-type.

And next time you have a dinner soiree at your yacht in Saint-Tropez, you might also consider sending an engraved invite to Clare Irby. The Guinness heiress was accused of getting drunk on a flight between India and England, where some very strange stuff allegedly happened. She was later acquitted.
