Score one for good taste.

Choosing not to linger over icky legal details, the family of Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein has settled its lawsuit against LearJet, Goodyear Tire and several other companies they felt played a role in the September 2008 plane crash that killed four and left DJ AM and Travis Barker with serious injuries.

DJ AM had originally sued the various defendants for negligence but, following his death from an accidental overdose in August, his estate tacked on a wrongful-death allegation, saying the rehabbed drug addict never fully recovered from the trauma and ultimately started using again.

Barker settled up with the companies he faulted last month. The terms of both deals remain confidential.
