The disappointment lightning bolt is streaking its way through Hollywood today following the California Supreme Court's ruling to uphold Proposition 8. Gay marriage will remain outlawed, and the stars remain outraged. Let's go to the tweets.

Dollhouse lovely Eliza Dushku says, "Shame on California Supreme Court!"

Alyssa Milano calls this "a sad day for equality," while Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist starlet Kat Dennings says, "This is disgusting."

One Tree Hill's Bryan Greenberg shares his frustration and empathy: "Cali Supreme court are you kidding me?! If 2 people love each other and wanna get married it's fine by me." Another Hill hottie—this time MTV's Holly Montag—is also angered: "BOO CALI! Our Bill of Rights and Constitution intended equal rights for ALL regardless of race, gender, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, age or creed!"

Adrianne Curry invoked the Civil Rights Movement when she figured, "Might as well tell the gays2get to the back of the bus!Equal rights for SOME!" Kelly Osbourne is equally "sick to think that people cant have equal rights!"

Emmy Rossum is attempting to rally the troops in protest, Fran Drescher is sad-facey because "Iowa is now way cooler," and Diablo Cody and Meghan McCain are using words we try not to print here to express their feelings on the subject.

Kathy Griffin, meanwhile, is already gearing up for the anti-8 rallies. "Like I'm not gonna be there... Please! Don't insult my inner gay boy."

Elsewhere in the Twitterverse, Courtney Love has much to say, a hint as to why Blink-182 may have split and Mandy Moore shares how she's spending her album release day...

Courtney Love has been on an intense tirade all day, calling out names such as Jennifer Aniston, James Franco, Ryan Gosling and James McAvoy. We just wish we could understand what she was trying to say. "I kinda like Mcevoy that poor mans fight club thing he did was he was smirky."

Blink-182's Mark Hoppus has a thing for garlic: "Is it possible to have a garlic hangover? after eating 2 HEADS of garlic last night, it feels like it's coming out of my eyes."

Mandy Moore's new album, Amanda Leigh, hits shelves today, but she's writing about trash television instead: "'The Real Housewives of New Jersey.' I'm not even sure what to say. I've never seen television quite like this?woah."

We salute Tila Tequila: "IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: I HAVE DECIDED TO GO CELIBATE FOR A YEAR! NO MORE SEX! I'VE DONE THIS BEFORE AND I WILL DO IT AGAIN STARTING NOW!"
