What's a good way to raise awareness for a good cause? Well, if you're Josh Duhamel, bunnies, bunnies, it must be bunnies!
On July 9, the 41-year-old Transformers actor and husband of Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie donned a Pepto-Bismol pink bunny onesie, complete with extra bunny ears on the feet, and hopped over to Venice Beach, Calif.
Also sporting Nike sneakers and red, mirrored sunglasses, Duhamel surprised scores of onlookers, waved to fans and even played a little basketball in the likely sweltering costume.

Duhamel, who probably blended in nicely with the cast of eclectic characters and street performers typically seen in the popular tourist spot, was there to raise awareness for children's charity Jumpstart's "Read for the Record" initiative.
The organization is encouraging people to unite and read Rosemary Well's 2000 picture book Bunny Cakes on Oct. 21, to "shine a spotlight on early childhood education." Duhamel, who shares an 11-month-old son with Fergie, was announced in June as a celebrity ambassador for this year's mission.

"As a new dad, I'm proud to be part of a campaign that advocates early education for all children," the group quoted him as saying in a statement at the time. "The best part of our day is story time with Axl."
