In this country alone, 22.8 million people tuned in to watch Wills and Kate pledge their eternal love–making it the most widely watched royal wedding in history.
But the watercooler buzz was about more than just the TV ratings. There was the balcony kiss at Buckingham Palace and then…another. Yay! A prince who doesn't mind a little PDA, especially on his wedding day. And then there were the bow-dacious headlines generated by the elaborate headgear worn by female wedding guests. Among all the wacky caps spied that day was Prince Beatrice's now-infamous fascinator, which she auctioned off after the reception to raise $130,000 for charity.
