She captured his heart, so Lady Gaga's biggest admirer captured her on camera for a sweet, emotional and personal moment.
The 29-year-old pop star posted on Instagram on Sunday several photos of herself wearing a nude bodysuit and Alexander Mcqueen Python Armadillo platform stiletto heel ankle boots, while clutching two more pairs. Both measure more than 11 inches tall and are similar to the pair she wore in her 2009 music video "Bad Romance."
Lady Gaga called the 34-year-old Chicago Fire actor the "best fiancé ever." The two got engaged on Valentine's Day. He proposed with a heart-shaped diamond engagement ring.
"Long Live McQueen. Look monsters, we got a sign of love from the beyond," Lady Gaga wrote on Instagram. "Photo by the babes."
"When a gift comes to you from Heaven," she said alongside another pic of herself putting on the boots. "Photo by Taylor Kinney best fiancée ever."
Kinney, or rather, his legs, are seen in two more photos of Lady Gaga posted that day.
She also posted video of her beau with their French bulldog, Asia, while a TV blares in the background.
Lady Gaga's shoes are among three pairs she acquired at a recent Christie's auction, which benefitted UNICEF. They are worth between $10,000 and $15,000 and are replicas from McQueen's Plato's Atlantis collection that debuted at his Spring/Summer 2010 runway show, which featured "Bad Romance." The designer, one of Gaga's favorites, died at age 40 in 2010.
The auction house estimated the boots to be worth between $10,000 and $15,000 each. According to Footwear News magazine, all three sold for $295,000.
"He wanted me to have them," Lady Gaga wrote in V magazine recently. "They made their way back to me. I am here today not just because of my talent, but because he believed in me. My weird brand of art pop manic expression of my emotions was the part of me he knew he taught me. I will be grateful long after I pass and join him wherever it is they put souls like us. Long live McQueen."
