When Paris Hilton fell for Thomas Gross, she fell hard—and fast.
Two months after the hotel heiress was first linked to the businessman, Paris, 34, posted a black and white picture of herself gazing into her boyfriend's eyes on Instagram Wednesday. In the photo caption, the socialite wrote, "Soulmates."
Paris and Thomas reportedly first met at the Cannes Film Festival in May. They are currently in London, where Paris' younger sister, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, will marry her longtime boyfriend James Rothschild at Kensington Palace Friday.
So, what's there to know about Paris' Switzerland-based beau? Thomas sold RunningBall, a company that provides live scores from soccer matches and other sports data, for a reported $150 million in 2012. Paris clearly isn't dating Thomas for his money, though it doesn't hurt that they're on even ground. In addition to her licensing deals, the musician earns an average of $30,000 per hour for DJ gigs.
Paris' love life has been in the press for years. Prior to romancing Thomas, the "Stars are Blind" singer dated Tyler Atkins, Nick Carter, Josh Henderson, Benji Madden, Stavros Niarchos III, Doug Reinhardt, Rick Salomon, River Viiperi and Cy Waits. She has been engaged twice, to Jason Shaw and Paris Latsis.
Coincidentally, just one month before she met Thomas, Paris told DuJour she was too busy to date. "I'm doing what I want. I don't really have time for a boyfriend," she told the magazine. Asked about L.A. bachelors, she said, "I'd rather be single."
With an empire to run, who could blame her for not wanting to settle? Paris' 18 perfumes have generated $2 billion in revenue; she has 56 eponymous branded stores in the Middle East and Asia selling her line of handbags; and she has 16 licenses across the categories of clothing, accessories, beauty and watches.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Just don't ask Paris to talk about her fortune.
"My mother always told me it's not polite to discuss money," she told DuJour.
