Azealia Banks Arrested After Allegedly Assaulting Female Security Guard by Biting Her Breast

Azealia Banks got herself into a physical altercation last night.

E! News has learned that the rapper was arrested early Wednesday morning after allegedly assaulting a female security guard outside Meatpacking club Up&Down. The New York Police Department tells us that around 12:46 a.m., Banks was escorted out of the venue "when she became verbally abusive and began to push the victim and bit victim on the breast causing swelling and redness."

Authorities add that she "was arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct and harassment."

Now, we know what you're wondering. What got Azealia Banks so riled up that she bit the woman on the boob? Well, here's what we know...

A source tells E! News that the 24-year-old was not invited to the party but came with an invited guest.

When Azealia tried to go downstairs to the party, we're told security turned her away and told her she had to get a stamp to enter. Azealia got upset about this, but ended up getting stamped and gained access into the private party.

Once inside, it appeared that she was offended that the security did not know who she was or recognize her as a celebrity. This resulted in an altercation, which another insider tells us also involved her spitting in the owner's face, and it ultimately led to her being escorted out by the female security guard who became the victim of Banks' alleged assault.

A source tells E! News this is not the first time she has acted like this. Banks was released Wednesday evening after seeing the judge.
