We hear wedding bells!
NBA player Russell Westbrook married his college sweetheart, Nina Earl, Saturday, E! News confirms.
The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard and his longtime love met at UCLA while playing for the men and women's basketball teams, respectively. The two tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel. "They both couldn't be happier and can't wait to spend the rest of their lives together," a source gushed to E! News.
Westbrook and Earl said "I do" in front of family, friends and a few of Westbrook's past and present teammates, including Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, Serge Ibaka, Dorrell Wright and James Harden, according to People. Harden also brought along Khloe Kardashian as his plus one!
The bride wore two dresses for her special day, one by Vera Wang and the other by Monique Lhullier. Westbrook, 26, opted for a tuxedo designed by celebrity favorite Tom Ford. According to the magazine, the couple had their first dance to "Nothing Even Matters" by Lauryn Hill and D'Angelo after walking out of their ceremony to a performance from Beyoncé.
Other A-list attendees included Keri Hilson and Miguel, who gave a surprise performance around 11 p.m.
During the reception, Fry Girl provided some snacks for attendees to eat at the end of the long night. "[Fry Girl] provided a mini donut station, and the guests noshed on hot, freshly made mini donuts with their choice of flavor-infused sugar toppings," a source tells us. "They were served at the end of the evening as a late night snack & everyone went crazy over them!"
The Beverly Hills Hotel also served Kobe beef sliders, fried chicken & waffles & tater tots. Sounds like a delicious evening!
Congratulations to the happy couple!
