The president has some serious rhythm!
President Barack Obama showed off his best dance moves Saturday while attending an official state dinner in Kenya to celebrate his historic trip. Kenyan pop group Sauti Sol also attended the event where they put their best moves on display for Obama and other politicos. Right before Obama made a speech, he joined the group when they performed the traditional Lipala dance, and thankfully the MTV and BET-award winning dancers posted a video for all of us to enjoy!
In the video, Obama steps side-to-side, spins around and shakes his hips like you wouldn't believe!
"To the right to the left, to the left," Sauti Sol group leader Bien-Aimé Baraza can be heard telling the president when asked how to do the dance.
Although Sauti Sol seemed to have full confidence in Obama's abilities, it seems he might have had some doubters as the group captioned the video, "And for those who doubted President @barackobama's step - the #LipalaDance #SuraYako is his new favorite Kenyan dance!

Other VIP guests at the dinner, which was hosted by Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta and his wife Margaret, included Akon and Obama's step-grandmother, Mama Sarah.
POTUS has opened up about his secret dancing skills in the past, telling Today's Savannah Guthrie that his wife, Michelle Obama, won't give him credit for his abilities.
"She consistently maintains, and I don't argue with her, that she's a better dancer," he told Guthrie. "Now in private, I can bust a move and I think I'm pretty good, but she tends to hold out when it comes to praising my dancing."
