Wonder if Carson Daly's kids tune in to Today?
During the "What's Trending" segment on the ABC morning show on Wednesday, the topic of a "favorite child" was discussed as Willie Geist revealed new stats from a recent survey.
"Parents do tend to think that one of their kids is smarter than the other. 48% say it's their oldest child," he said before Al Roker quickly weighed in.
"It just happens to be true," the 60-year-old weather forecaster said, adding, "Well I'm the oldest."

Savannah Guthrie, who gave birth to daughter Vale nearly one year ago, then shared her opinion. "I only have one child so she's my favorite," the 43-year-old journalist said.
But it was Carson Daly who really got candid on the topic when he revealed "I have a favorite…it fluctuates, I tell ‘em too" (we're pretty sure he's kidding).
The 42-year-old host, who is a dad to three with partner Siri Pinter, continued, insisting he's also his mother's favorite child.
"Enough with the everybody wins a trophy. My mother loves me this much more (gesturing with his hands) than my sister. It's just a fact," he said.
Carson and Siri welcomed their third child, daughter London Rose, in August 2014.
The happy couple, who began dating in 2007, are also parents to son Jackson James, 6, and daughter Etta Jones, 2.
