Watch with Kristin Show: See the Future of Grey's Girl Elizabeth Reaser, and Heroes!

Categories: video clips

I love this girl. That's what I can tell you after hanging out with Elizabeth Reaser, formerly of Grey's Anatomy and now the star of CBS fall series The Ex List. Her new show rocks, and she's one of the coolest chicks you'll meet—she even let us tag along when she got her very first psychic reading earlier this week. The idea was inspired by her new show, in which a psychic tells her she has one year to reconnect with an ex whom she is meant to marry.

Oh, and if you're wondering what's next for Peter and Sylar on Heroes, or Rufus and Lily on Gossip Girl, well, then click in and enjoy the goods!

(P.S. We bleeped the first letter of the name of Elizabeth's real-life love interest just to make sure we don't mess with destiny. Who are we to meddle with true love?)

Exclusive: Tori Is Out, Shannen Is In for 90210 Remake!

Categories: 90210
Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling

If you’re a fan of the OG Peach Pit posse, you might want to sit down, ‘cause sources connected to the CW’s new 90210 are spilling exclusive dish of OMG proportions.

In a nutshell: Shannen Doherty is in, Tori Spelling is out and Jennie Garth may be—wait for it—reuniting with Shannen on the screen.

(We’ll pause while you find a paper bag to breathe into...especially if your name happens to be Jennie Garth.)

After EW.com's Michael Ausiello first reported the news that Shannen is in talks, a very reliable and very inside source who works on 90210 tells me exclusively that “It is happening with Shannen. It's just a question of how long she'll shoot, whether it will be one day or ten, and what the storyline will be, but we are working on it and it is a very real thing."

Inside sources also confirm exclusively that Tori will not be appear in the season premiere as planned because of personal reasons—like she just gave birth to a baby girl on June 9. The new mom had been signed on to do a few episodes at the beginning of the season, but she isn't yet ready to return to work, so her appearance has been pushed to a later date.

As for Shannen’s storyline, I’m told the details are still in the initial-concept stages, but the writers are hoping to get Shannen and Jennie together, onscreen, for a scene. Can you imagine? As far as superhot publicity explosions go, that would be akin to mixing gasoline, Tabasco sauce and fire.

Of course, the real question is, will they do it? “I don't think there's any love lost between Shannen and Jennie," says one rock-solid inside source. “But they are both adults now and professionals, and I don’t see it being an issue. Everyone has their take on what happened back in the day, and I think the feeling is that it’s time to move on. They were 19 and 20 when all of that happened and a lot has changed. And, you know, they’re not moving in together, just shooting together for an hour and a half.”

Another insider close to the negotiations points out: “I want to stress that Shannen has been very, very cool through this whole process. We have seen nothing like the behavior for which she was once famous for.”

Awww...Who doesn’t love a redemption story, right? As long as there are two red dresses in the dressing room, all should be right with the world, the ratings should go through the roof and we 9-0 fans can start freaking out about how lip-smackingly juicy this remake just might turn out to be.

What do you think of Jennie and Shannen reuniting? Post your comments below!

The Office webisodes: Kevin's Loan

Hurrah! The Office webisodes are almost here, lucky for us all. It's not quite the same as having a full 22 minutes with J.Kras and Rainn, but beginning next Thursday, July 10, by way of NBC.com, we will have some more quality at Dunder-Mifflin's Scranton branch. I got an early look at the webisodes this morning, so click in for a little dish and a sneak-peek video...

Emmys 2008: The Series Semifinalists Are In, but What Are Your Picks?

Categories: emmys, polls
Kristin Chenoweth, Stewie from Family Guy, Tina Fey, Lance Reddick, Sandra Oh, Naveen Andrews

The 2008 Emmy nominations announcements are due out very soon—on Thursday, July 17, to be specific—and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has offered up a sneak preview this year, releasing an official list of semifinalists.

The good news is that some of our faves, like Lost and 30 Rock, made it. The bad new is that some of our faves, like Battlestar Galactica and How I Met Your Mother, did not make it. And the competition only gets tougher from here on out.

I'm interested in your take on this year's nominations. Which shows are you cheering for? Which fave series of yours was unfairly snubbed again this year? Vote in the polls below, and then testify about your picks (especially any shows that I totally missed) in the comments...

Spoiler Chat: Heroes, Gossip Girl, Prison Break and More

Penn Badgley, Ali Larter, Wentworth Miller

Teresa in Miami: Kristin, who cares about Dan and Serena kissing? Give us some news on whether Chuck or Nate or anyone will be gay on Gossip Girl!
I've heard of no plans to have any of the characters we know come out or even dabble in the second season—well, aside from little Eric van der Woodsen, por supuesto, who I'm told will have a love interest or two. Still, if the book series is any indication, Gossip will be getting gayer by the season, according to Penn Badgley. "By the end of the series, I think they got so bored writing the same things for 12 years, they were like, 'Let's just make 'em all gay,' " Penn says. "Chuck ends up gay and has a monkey on his shoulder that dresses in similar outfits." Oooh, please tell me that's true on the show, too.

Molly in Nebraska: Please tell me Mike will be back on Desperate Housewives. I can't find the answer anywhere! Also, is Niki back on Heroes? Those are two of my favorite TV people and no one seems to know if they'll be back.
Keep reading to the spoiler section!

J in NYC: There are new photos of Dave Annable, Matthew Rhys and Will Estes at a recent event. Does this mean that Will Estes has been cast as the newest Walker brother, Ryan? Please say that it's so!

The Con is coming! The Con is coming!

Yes, San Diego Comic-Con 2008 is just a few short weeks away, with good friends like Lost, Heroes, The Office and Dexter scheduled to attend. I was sorting out my personal itinerary and realized I might not be the only one trying to figure out what TV stuff is happening at the Con.

So I beat a few bushes (dirty) and flushed out (dirtier!) the schedule of TV-show events and panels. This is totally unofficial, unauthorized and subject to change (especially if there is an actors' strike), but click in for the current scheme of things as we approach Nerdvana.

Sidenote: If you have questions for Michael C. Hall or any of the rest of the Dexter cast, I will gladly and gleefully take them via email (tvdiva@eonline.com), and try to work them in when I host the Dexter panel. Come and say hi, OK?

Will Arrested Movie Happen? The Latest From Jason Bateman

Categories: arrested development
Jason Bateman, Arrested Development

Amy in Plano, Texas: Kristin, you’re killing me with the silence! What say you about the revived rumor that there might be an Arrested Development movie?
Trust me, I am just as giddy. (Been scraping myself off the ceiling, which is the only cause for delay, sorry.)

After hearing Jason Bateman tell Keith Olberman that a big-screen version of Arrested Development is “in the works” (while promoting his new movie Hancock, also starring AD's Rita, aka Charlize Theron), I promptly stalked reached out to Jason for any updates he might be willing to share with the fans. Jason tells me: “There's nothing new from what was said on Olberman. It's all in the process of being worked out, and hopefully they figure out a way.”

Please, Santie Claus?

Pals close to the sitch tell me there is no script and that [Arrested boss] Mitch Hurwitz is busy with his new animated series, Sit Down and Shut Up. But it's definitely on his radar, so here's hoping he gets things going.

Your mission? To comment below and make sure the decision makers know how much you fans want an Arrested flick. (Bonus points if you email your Bluth-loving friends to do the same.)

I’m no analrapist (an analyst/therapist) like Dr. Tobias Fünke, but seems to me it certainly couldn't hurt!

The Office: Jan Better Watch Out, Because Holly's Back!

Categories: office, the
Steve Carell, Amy Ryan, The Office

It's going to be a good year for Michael Scott (Steve Carell).

In addition to his ex-girlfriend Jan (Melora Hardin) being pregnant with another man's baby (who?), he's getting some more quality time with his new human-resources director. Of course, some bosses would think that's a small leap to a big sexual-harassment lawsuit, but most bosses aren't the World's Best Boss.

Bottom line: Actress Amy Ryan (Academy Award-nominated for her turn in Ben Affleck's Gone Baby Gone) will return to Dunder-Mifflin's Scranton branch for at least five episodes this season as Holly Flax. This comes on the heels of the news last week that Steve Carell signed on for three more years of Office work.

Can I get a hell yes? Vote in the Michael Scott's Best Girl Poll below and then post your take on Holly's return in the comments.

The Many Loves of Michael Scott

You are the master of Michael Scott's destiny. Pick one:

  • Michael & Jan
  • Michael & Holly
  • Michael & Dwight
  • As a great leader of our time, Michael Scott doesn't have time for love
Results may be delayed by up to 120 seconds.

Terminator Cast Dishes on New Season

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Tick...tick...tick...Hear that? It's the sound of the clock slooowly inching toward the new season of Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Sept 8). It's also the wicked-hot sound of the show's resident bot-beauty Summer Glau, who just took the stage at the Saturn Awards to claim the trophy for best supporting actress on television.

Terminator's cast and creator were also on hand and ponied up some dish on the new season, which they're currently shooting. Click in for the goods!
