• If you need an all-star crew, no one delivers better than Danny Ocean himself, George Clooney. He and partner Grant Heslov are in talks with Ewan McGregor, Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges about joining The Men Who Stare at Goats. Heslov's directing the true-life tale of a journalist (McGregor) in Iraq who encounters a U.S. spy (Clooney) claiming to be an ex-military psychic reactivated after 9/11 as part of a squad of paranormal troopers—i.e., men who can kill goats by staring at them. Bridges would play the unit's leader and Spacey a former member, per the Hollywood Reporter.

Ray Winstone is filling in for the departed. The British actor, late of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull  (and, yes, The Departed), has been tapped to take over the role vacated by Robert De Niro in Edge of DarknessVariety reports. De Niro quit the two days for "creative differences." Mel Gibson stars as a detective probing his daughter's murder; Winstone will play an agent assigned to clean up evidence after her death.

Battlestar Galactica badass Katee Sackhoff has come aboard NBC's new crime series Lost and Found. She'll really stretch her acting skills, playing an offbeat female LAPD detective with a penchant for pissing off her commanders...um, just like Starbuck.

Christina Ricci, Owen Benjamin, Nadine Velazquez, Bill Engvall and Cedric the Entertainer will topline the romantic comedy All's Faire in Love, about a drama school grad who joins a Ren Faire group and falls for fellow trouper. Ah, nerd love.

Jeff Foxworthy continues to proves how IQ-deficient game-show contestants can be, launching a syndicated version of his Fox hit Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? in September 2009. By the way, if you have to ask...
