Not that Lindsay Lohan strikes us as the jealous type, but Samantha Ronson just scored two hot dates. In court.

Just one day after the DJ's best buddy was served a subpoena as part of Ronson's ongoing legal battle with a former lawyer, Ronson filed a revised negligence complaint against said attorney, Martin Garbus, the man who failed to win her defamation suit against blogger Perez Hilton.

The revisions basically rendered pointless today's planned hearing in the case, which a judge subsequently postponed in favor of setting two new court dates.

A status hearing to deal with the new complaint is now set for Sept. 18, while a trial date of May 6, 2009, has also been set in the seemingly never-ending case.

Judge Kenneth Freeman was initially expected to hear a motion this morning from Garbus' lawyer seeking to strike a portion of Ronson's lawsuit that would pave the way for her to seek hefty punitive damages from the lawyer.

Garbus' lawyers also say that an attempt to settle the duo's differences out of court is, for now, not in the cards.

"I think at this point it's premature to decide if mediation would be fruitful," said Garbus attorney Renee A. Haupt.

Ronson filed suit against Garbus & Co. back in May, alleging negligence, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty, claiming Garbus both reneged on properly representing her against Hilton and also had a conflict of interest due to a dispute over payment for the services he did eventually render.
