It’s a standard stand-up equation: menopause + prostitution = comedy gold, right? Not according to Sen. Barack Obama, who scolded alleged pal and supporter Bernie Mac for spewing gags on hookers and monthlies at a $2,300-a-plate fundraiser. Miffed Obama advised the funnyman to “clean up your act,” a laughfest that included zingers like this:

“My little nephew came to me and he said, ‘Uncle, what’s the difference between a hypothetical question and a realistic question?’ I said, 'I don’t know,' but I said, ‘Go upstairs and ask your mother if she would make love to the mailman for $50,000.’”

Hey, at least he said “make love.”

Apparently, intending a prescient lesson in the difficulties of being a black president, Mac suggested that Obama watch Head of State, Mac’s 2003 “comedy” (tagline: “The Only Thing White Is the House”) that featured the comedian as VP to Chris Rock’s commander in chief. After 90 minutes of that, even Barack would be begging for a few slut-based knee slappers.
