Isaac Hanson, the eldest of the singing Hansons, and wife Nikki welcomed their second son, James Monroe Hanson, on July 1.
According to People, the presedentially monikered tot weighed in at 8 pounds, 11 ounces. He joins year-old older brother, Everett, in the expanding Hanson brood.
"The addition of Monroe to our family is incredible and exciting," the singer-guitarist told People. "With Monroe and Everett being so close in age, it will be great to watch them grow up together. Two little boys is going to be twice the fun."
Hanson is certainly appreciating every minute of it—and for good reason: He suffered a pulmonary embolism last October. After undergoing surgery in December to remove a rib that was restricting blood flow to his arm, Hanson has since fully recovered.
The Hansons have proved to be one of the more fertile pop acts of recent years.
Isaac's youngest bro, 22-year-old Zac Hanson, became a first-time dad when son John Ira Shepherd Hanson was born in May. Middle brother Taylor Hanson, meanwhile, has three children.
