Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess didn't make the Dancing With the Stars finals, but hey, that's alright.

"I'm totally grateful," he told E! News on the red carpet after getting sent home. "I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with Sharna. She's a really passionate individual. It's been a great journey for me. I'm really grateful for the opportunity, the people who took care of me on the show…It's been an experience filled with a lot of joy, a lot of hard work and a lot of memories."

However, he does feel bad…for his pro dance partner Burgess. "I just feel bad for this beautiful girl right here because she's a winner and I wanted her to get a trophy," he said.

Burgess has been on the show for seven seasons. Last year she came in second with Nick Carter and in season 20 she placed third with Noah Galloway. Brown and Burgess received a 27 and 28 for their two dances. The 27 score was for their Argentine tango to "Mi Confesion" by Gotan Project. The 28 came from their contemporary dance to "Hall of Fame" by The Script feat. will.i.am.

"There's absolutely no bitterness about this elimination. I think everyone in the final is so incredible," she told us. "I don't know who I would say you out and us in, but I will say I'm disappointed for Antonio…he really wanted it."
