Liam Neeson attended a showing of Cabaret last night with his two teenage sons, Micheál and Daniel, 17 years after his late wife Natasha Richardson starred as Sally Bowles in the classic musical.

Richardson starred alongside Alan Cumming, who is still performing in the current production with Emma Stone. Eyewitnesses told Just Jared that the family of three sat together at a table located in the orchestra section and appeared to be in good spirits.

The evening outing was undoubtedly an emotional time for the 62-year-old actor and his sons, and Neeson has even recently admitted that Richardson's death still doesn't seem real almost 6 years later.

During an interview with 60 Minutes' Anderson Cooper he shared that some days he forgets she's even gone.

"There's periods now in our New York residence when I hear the door opening, especially the first couple of years...Any time I hear that door opening, I still think I'm going to hear her."

He added, "It hits you. It's like a wave. You just get this profound feeling of instability. The Earth isn't stable anymore and then it passes and it becomes more infrequent, but I still get it sometimes."
