According to Jamie's website, "Our mission is to offer young athletes access and financial assistance to participate in winter sports, pursue their dreams and connect with the environment.  Since the Foundation's creation, we have provided more than 30 young winter sports athletes with equipment, clothing, season passes and finical aid so they can travel to the USASA national competitions." History Maker: When appearing at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, Jamie made history by winning the first Olympic gold medal in slopestyle. "I tried to visualize and trust that I could land the run I wanted to," she shared with reporters after the win. "And also remember to have fun because that's what snowboarding is all about. I'm just trying as hard as I can to live moment to moment and embrace each and every second. It's all happening so fast and what's most important is what's happening right now."
