Can you hear that?

That's the sound of champagne glasses clinking, Hollywood stars applauding and the orchestra getting louder and louder as it cuts off acceptance speeches that have gone awry.

Yes, you guessed it...Those are the sounds of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards.

The show will air this Thursday and will certainly come complete with plenty of awesome moments, milestones and more (as it always does).

But before we tune into all the fun that's bound to come, there are a few things you need to know...

For example, Sunday's show marks the 75th annual Golden Globes, which first started airing in 1944. It's also important that you know Seth Meyers is hosting for the very first time.

There are a few big names up for multiple nominations as well as one TV show and one motion picture, in particular, that have both seen the most nods across the board.

Find out about all of this and more by launching the video above.

The 2018 Golden Globes will take place Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at 8 p.m. ET.
