With the cold winter months right around the corner, it's time to start thinking about your next island getaway. We sat down with Montana Brown of Love Island to find out how she gets ready for a big holiday and her favourite items to pack.

Have you ever visited Barbados?

Yes! Mum and I go pretty much every year to the same place. It's such a beautiful destination and the people are so lively. The reggae bars are where I want to be.

What is your go-to beach bar look?

I like to throw a simple kimono over the top of a bikini or a nice summer dress - something that flows and isn't too tight.

What can you not go on holiday without?

My factor 50 face sun cream. I'm a big worshiper of sun cream and feel that people don't use it enough. People cook themselves in oil and that's just really bad for your skin. I wouldn't travel anywhere without it.

What are your top 5 beach holiday wardrobe must-haves?

  • Little black dress/ LBD
  • A maxi dress
  • A simple strap heel
  • A good Kimono
  • Lots of Summer dresses or colourful playsuits

How do you get beach body ready?

In preparation of Summer I'm a big believer in weight training. I never do any cardio. Hit the gym, do some squats on the squat-rack and heavy lifting.

Do you have any holiday beauty secrets?

Sometimes when I'm on holiday and I don't fancy wearing makeup in the evening, I'll just apply a bit of highlighter. It gives you a really nice healthy glow and gives you the appearance of having foundation on.

What projects post Love Island are you currently working on?

I'm trying to get involved in a lot more broadcasting opportunities in radio and television and we've actually got a couple of things lined up for that. I was recently a panelist for social media week which was really fun and I felt really honored to be invited. I've also come out with my new range with Pretty Little Thing so for the past couple of months I've been shooting out in LA, so it's been such a good project. I can't wait to see how it grows in the future.
