If Kate Middleton is looking for a new recipe this holiday season, she should look no further than her sister's latest work.

Pippa Middleton recently released her new cookbook titled Heartfelt just in time for the holiday season and one thing readers will instantly learn is the simple fact that family is more than just a priority in the philanthropist's life.

"I heart family. My mother always says preparing a healthy and tasty meal for the family is one of life's greatest pleasures—and pressures," she wrote in the beginning of the "I Heart Family" chapter of her book available now. "With the many demands of family life, even the most enthusiastic cook can struggle to come up with new ideas week in week out and not rely on convenience foods to serve up a meal at the end of a long day."

So what's a mom, dad, grandparent or just plain foodie to do? Pippa fortunately shared a variety of "wholesome, healthy recipes" that can be made in one hour or less.

For starters, Pippa believes her beef and lentil cottage pie recipe is something the "whole family will love."

Another dinner item could be the Portobello Mushroom Margarita.

"Every member of the family will love this quirky take on a traditional pizza," the British Heart Foundation ambassador wrote in the book. "It's great for brunch, breakfast or as a substantial snack, and the Portobello mushrooms make it a tasty way to up your family's veg intake."

And whether you're a toddler like Prince George or a proud adult like Kate Middleton or Prince William, everyone will savor the banana, blueberry and oat muffins.

"These are indulgent treats for all the family," she wrote. "Grown-ups can enjoy them without the guilt factor of the full-fat ones, and the kids will love them too—especially with the juiciness of the blueberries and the sweetness of the bananas."

Before the book comes to an end, Pippa takes the time to thank everyone who made her latest project possible. And in the true spirit of Heartfelt, family is certainly given a shout out.

"I would also like to thank my family and friends who have been shamelessly used as guinea pigs, sometimes unwittingly," Pippa shared. "Their observations and criticisms, along with the support of Waitrose Weekend food editors, have proved invaluable in ensuring each and every recipe is not only healthy, but enjoyable to eat."
