Selena Gomez has made some changes after taking a self-imposed hiatus for three months.

The actress participated in Thrive Global's questionnaire and opened up about what fuels her, gives her strength and more. Perhaps it's no surprise then that the "Hands to Myself" songstress mentioned her break. When asked when was the last time she felt burned out, she answered, "Three months ago, before I took a hiatus to take care of myself."

Having reassessed the people she surrounds herself with, as well as what she needs and doesn't need in life, Selena revealed that she no longer feels as addicted to her cell phone. "I recently took 90 days off. During that time I did not have my cellphone," she explained. "It was the most refreshing, calming, rejuvenating feeling. Now I rarely pick up my phone, and only limited people have access to me."

After canceling her Revival World Tour, Selena made sure to focus on herself, and she's continuing to do so even in the minutiae of her life. "Drink water, stretch and take a deep breath," is what makes up her morning routine, and when she finds herself with some free time, Selena uses "self-affirmations in cooking or napping" to fill it.

Selena made her first public appearance since taking a hiatus at the 2016 AMAs in November and ended the award show on an empowering note after receiving her first AMA.

"Thank you guys so much," Gomez said while holding back tears. "In 2014, this stage was actually the first time that I was authentically 100 percent honest with all of you. I think it's safe to say most of you know my life whether I liked it or not. And I had to stop. Because I had everything. And I was absolutely broken inside. I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down, but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down."

(When she performed at the 2014 American Music Awards, she began to cry while singing "The Heart Wants What It Wants" as her relationship with Justin Bieber was falling apart.)

"I don't want to see your bodies on Instagram. I want to see what's in here," Gomez said, pointing to her heart. "I'm not trying to get validation, nor do I need it anymore. All I can say is I'm so grateful that I have the opportunity to be able to share what I love every day with people that I love. I have to say thank you so much to my fans, because you guys are so damn loyal, and I don't know what I did to deserve you. But if you are broken, you do not have to stay broken. That's one thing you should know about me: I care about people. And this is for you."
