Claim That Kris Jenner Is Actually Beyoncé's ''Becky With the Good Hair" Is a "Joke," Source Says

An insider close to the E! star rebuffed a Daily Mail report

Yes, Kris Jenner rocks a fab 'do, but as a source tells E! News, she's no "Becky with the good hair."

The Beyhive nearly imploded Friday morning when a Daily Mail report surfaced alleging the true identity of "Becky" in Beyoncé's smash hit "Sorry" is none other than the Jenner-Kardashian matriarch.

An insider close to the E! reality star rebuffed such claims, revealing to us that if Kris is in fact the woman in question, then "that's news to her." The source adds that any and all reference to Kris being Becky is a "joke," and that celeb hairstylist Anthony Pazos is "way outside" the family's inner circle.

Pazos, who says he worked with Queen Bey ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards and Super Bowl, told the outlet that her lyrics do not reflect a romance shared between Kris and Jay Z, but instead allude to the pair's professional relationship.

"In the way that if you were going to be with...someone that they know interpersonally who has the same amount of money that they do, and so that's the 'rumor' that was going around on our production while we were working with Bey," he explained. "Take what you want from that."

Pazos told Daily Mail he thought the Grammy winner was "annoyed" by her husband's relationship with Jenner, further adding, "'Becky' always refers to a white woman in the African American community. Becky is a generic white name for somebody—a white girl."

When Lemonade hit the airwaves in April 2016, speculation quickly mounted that "Becky" was either Rachel Roy or Rita Ora, two stars who faced criticism after rumors circulated that the rapper cheated on Bey with them. Both the songstress and fashion designer adamantly denied their involvement in allegedly causing a rift between the power couple.

Kim Kardashian has even teased Kris about  being the real "Becky," and in May of this year shared a video on her Snapchat of the famous momager rocking her own Lemonade-inspired dress as Kim says, "You guys, I found Becky."

Kris went on to wear a number of chic lemon-printed ensembles over the summer, but as our source insists, the Kardashian fam was simply joking about Kris' involvement in the drama.

The woman behind the infamous lyrics, Diana Gordon, also explained to Entertainment Weekly her take on "Sorry" and the response it received.

"I laughed, like this is so silly," Gordon recalled. "Where are we living? I was like, 'What day in age from that lyric do you get all of this information?' Is it really telling you all that much, accusing people?"

She added, "The idea started in my mind but it's not mine anymore. It was very funny and amusing to me to watch it spread over the world."
