ESC: Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon is giving us a little bit of Elle Woods again.

No, there's not going to be a Legally Blonde 3. The actress appeared on the Sing premiere red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival in a dramatic yet ultra-feminine beauty look, reminding us of her fictional days at Harvard.

Think: dark-lined eyes and pink, sparkly lips. This time, though, Reese wasn't drawing from a character; her look was inspired by her off-the-shoulder mini.

"Reese Witherspoon is always such a blast and joy to create looks with," said makeup artist Molly R. Stern. "For her Sing premiere, we went with our recent obsession of ‘matchy-matchy' and pulled our color inspiration from her gorgeous dress designed by Ulyana Sergeenko."

The Hollywood beauty maven was so kind to break down the look for us.

Step 1: Apply EX1 Invisiwear Liquid Foundation sparingly just to even out tone.

Step 2: Using a neutral contouring blush, shade to enhance the hollows of the cheeks slightly. Then apply a pop of warmth onto the apples using EX1 Blusher in Natural Flush.

Step 3: Base your lids with Nars Dual Intensity Eye Shadow in Tan Lines. Then add a veil of pink using the center shade of Dior 5 Couleurs Skyline palette in #806 Capital of Light.

Step 4: Create an outward-fused cat-eye shape using the metallic gray from the Dior palette. Add a metallic wash over the lid using Chantecaille Mermaid Eye Color in Starfish.

Step 5: Intensify the lash and wet line using Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencil in Desperation.

Step 6: Curl lashes and coat with YSL mascara.

Step 7: Finish off the look with Votre VU Drawmatic Lip Liner in Simmer with Laura Mercier Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour in Shy. Then top it off with Dior Addict Ultra Gloss in 659.

Think of this as Elle Woods, 2016 edition.
