The E! reality star opened up for On Air With Ryan Seacrest Thursday morning, revealing just how much his bride-to-be impacted his life during his toughest days. Kardashian, who has spoken candidly about his struggles with losing weight, credits Chyna for motivating him in many ways his famous family could not.

"Sometimes your family can't get you out of the worst place that I was in," the 29-year-old admitted. "I needed an outsider to help me. I couldn't do it all myself."

Rob continued, "Chyna helped me through my rough time. I was uncomfortable in my skin, just trying to get over that uncomfortable feeling. She really helped me get past that [feeling of] being judged."

Of their relationship, Rob revealed that in the lovebirds' early stages, "I couldn't really feel comfortable about talking to any of my family members obviously about the situation. It was very, very complicated. But my happiness outweighed everything honestly at that point in my life."

After having one-on-one conversations with each of his family members, Rob insists that months down the line, "There's no beef between anybody," while Chyna maintains, "Everything's positive." In fact, Kardashian says the couple "always" FaceTimes with their extended fam.

And for the haters thinking Rob's relationship is a jab to his family, he slammed the notion, saying, "Never in a million years would I have a child out of spite."

So how did the pregnant 28-year-old get her leading man to commit to his new, healthy lifestyle? Chyna told Ryan Seacrest it all started with simple conversations about their future goals.

"In the beginning with Rob, I never used to ask Kim [Kardashian] what his problems were because I felt as though if I would've done that to Rob, he would've pushed me away. If he did have any problems, I would let him come to me," Chyna explained.

As a result, Chyna said their longtime friendship, which took a romantic turn about a year ago, "Just came about. It just happened."

Moving forward, Rob and Chyna says their sole focus is their bundle of joy that's already well on its way. They have set a wedding date, but in Rob's words, "First, have a healthy baby, then hopefully a beautiful wedding. But obviously the baby comes first."
