Watch: Josh Murray: "I'm Definitely Going to Propose to Amanda"

Josh Murray knows what he wants and it's to put a ring on Amanda Stanton's finger.

"I am more than in love with Amanda and I am definitely going to propose to her," Josh exclusively told E! News on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico, the day before tonight's finale filmed.

And Josh was so serious about proposing to Amanda that he had his mother fly in from Atlanta to meet her. "I actually introduced her to my mom today, and that was a big step in the process," he said. "I wanted her to meet my family."

While Josh admitted to us that "things have progressed a lot faster than I thought with Amanda," he called their journey "a great surprise."

Bachelor in Paradise's Most "Scandalous" Moments

Josh, of course, proposed to Andi Dorfman at the end of her season of The Bachelorette, with the couple calling off their engagement a year later. Andi went on to write a book, where she detailed the demise of their relationship, which became the source of a lot of conflict this season on BIP.

Josh and Amanda were able to make it through the tough moments, with Josh gushing, "I'm madly in love with her. She's an amazing woman. She's very sweet, kind, generous, I could go on and on for days!"

Amanda appeared on Ben Higgins' season on The Bachelor, and was sent home after the hometown dates, during which she introduced Ben to her two young daughters. While it was an insecurity for Amanda, she doesn't have to worry about Josh having concerns over becoming a step-father.

"I love that Amanda's mom. She's an amazing mom, all she does is talk about her kids," he said. "I love children and I want to meet them. I wish they could come here right now to see us and everything."

Bachelor in Paradise's finale airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC
