Things are just getting started for Nina Agdal.

For one, the natural beauty just inked a deal with IMG Models, so you know that we can expect big things from Leonardo DiCaprio's leading lady. Currently, she's staring in Buick's new wellness campaign and it makes perfect sense because the model prides herself on working out at least once a day. When we chatted with her, she hadn't quite nailed down her fashion week schedule but she was most excited to see everyone there.

For her thoughts on fitness, happiness and beauty, here's what she had to say.

What are some of your favorite ways to recharge?
I definitely love being active. I've always been very active and played sports growing up. Now, I try to workout at least once a day. It helps me mentally. It gets my brain working, controls my stress levels and it's just good for me and my body. I make it a priority to get at least 45 minutes in a day, whether it's going for a run, playing a sport, going for a bike ride or a class.

How do you detox?
If I want to detox, I'll do the juicing thing for sure. I'll have two juices and then a solid meal for either dinner or lunch. Most likely I'll do the meal for dinner because I live in New York City and it's hard to say no to dinner—there's one every single night. But I don't do that all the time. It's all about a balance.

What workouts are you into?
I'm always obsessed with workouts, but I switch it up. I'm really into boxing—I have personal boxing trainer in New York. I do a lot of SoulCycle, SLT, Barry's Bootcamp, Tone House, Y7 Yoga—I'm kind of all over the place. I've been traveling a lot, so it's been a lot of beach bootcamps, too. Basically it's me and whoever wants to join me (if anyone) just putting on some tunes and doing some squats, sprints and lunges. Besides, tanning at the same time in a bikini is kind of awesome.

What kind of workout clothes do you wear?
I have so much stuff! I really like this Brazilian brand called Liv!. I did a shoot for them a couple of months ago—they have really cool patterns. My favorites are these leggings that look like jeans that are super cool. I also love Nike stuff and basic black Lululemon leggings.

How do you keep yourself motivated to workout?
I think everybody has those days or those moments where the last thing you want to do is leave the couch. But I just always remind myself how good I feel after. I've also come to the conclusion that it's the one thing that I do that I will never regret doing. You'll always have that extra slice of pizza, or that extra glass of wine or sleep that extra hour and regret it later. I never regret a workout. That's just what I tell myself.

Do you have any night time rituals before a shoot?
I use a lot of Dr. Jart+. I use the brightening and the lift & firm mask. I'm not big into beauty products—they usually take too long. I'd rather throw on a mask and let it sit for 15 minutes and call it a day.

Do you have any go-to makeup products?
I love Laura Mercier, she has this amazing primer. I use the one called Radiance, and I use it no matter what. It just gives you dewy, radiant skin and every time I'm wearing it I get complimented. It's my number one beauty tip.

What's a good hair day for you?
A good hair day for me is showering the night before, going to bed with wet hair, and maybe just a little bit of Bumble and Bumble Salt Spray or the Oribe Texturizing Spray. The texturing spray is amazing no matter what—it's a little pricy, but it's so worth it.

Do you have any non-product related beauty tips?
There's always the classic drink a lot of water tip, but sleep is big. I sleep a lot and I take pride in it. I love to get a good night's sleep and I think it's so much about what you put in your body, too. I prefer to eat organic. But also being surrounded by good people and good energy is essential. If you're stressed out by someone or if something is dragging you down, it will show on your skin.

Do you have a signature scent?
Everyone always says my hair smells good, and I really just use Garnier Fructis conditioner. It's the normal one, but anytime I see anyone they tell me my hair smells so good—so I guess that must be it!
