Boomer Phelps

May we all channel our inner Boomer Phelps this holiday weekend.

While some of you are wrapping up your Friday (or maybe you decided YOLO and took the day off) in preparation for Labor Day Weekend, it looks like one little cutie got a head start, and he's really livin' the life.

Michael Phelps gave us a glimpse into what retirement after winning 28 medals during his Olympics career, and it includes giving his baby boy the star treatment. Phelps shared Boomer's first video shoot on Instagram, and seriously, it's so insanely adorable, you won't even know how to react.

The Instagram video begins with an image of the nearly 4-month-old lounging on a pool floatie in his blue swim trunks and shades on top of his head. It then shoots to various shots of him in the pool, showing off those chubby cheeks and heart-melting smile, while literally chillin'.

A video posted by Michael Phelps (@m_phelps00) on

Phelps captioned the adorable video (which we promise you will watch more than once), "Nothing like @boomerrphelps first video shoot!! Splashing around in the pool and having fun!! Love ya buddy!! #retiredlife."

And it was also posted on Boomer's Instagram page. Yes, Boomer has an Instagram page and he's way bigger in the game than you. His video post was captioned, "Thanks @taylorchien for making me look so good in my play day at the pool!!"

Boomer's Instagram currently has nearly 700,000 followers and he's verified! Along with that viral video are photos of the tiny cutie with his famous pops and mama Nicole Johnson, as well as some faces you may recognize, like Jimmy Fallon and Simon Cowell.

Don't worry, you're not the only person questioning what you're doing with your life right now.
