Less than a day after the news that his daughter Lindsie Chrisley is getting a divorce, Todd Chrisley is weighing in on the difficult family matter.
"We are saddened by the decision that Lindsie and Will [Campbell] have made to end their marriage but will always be grateful for the father Will is to our grandson Jackson," the Chrisley Knows Best star said in a statement to E! News.
"It is the entire family's goal to work together with love and mutual respect for each other."
Shortly after the news of her decision to divorce was made public, Lindsie thanked her fans on social media for their unwavering support and understanding.
"Completely speechless. Thank you all for the love and support from our fans. I love you all."
Meanwhile, her younger brother Chase also rushed to her support and tweeted, "I love you @LindsieChrisley you know we are behind you and love you!"
Lindsie and Will revealed to People yesterday that after four years of marriage, they were parting ways.
"He was my first love. We got together when we were 19 years old, and over time we grew separately in different directions instead of together," Lindsie told the magazine.
"I'm more confident with myself and I just don't feel that relationship gives me what I need anymore. I've outgrown the relationship. I hope in the future that he and I can be great friends. He still holds a special place in my heart. I love him, always and forever. I have nothing negative to say."
