Forget Humpty Dumpty, can Siggy Flicker, Melissa Gorga and Dolores Catania put Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita back together again? We'll find out on next week's The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but from the preview, well, it's not looking great.

In the video below, Siggy and Jacqueline arrive for their weekend away—Melissa, Dolores and Teresa are already there. You know how the saying goes, you can cut the tension with a knife, yes it's even felt via the TV screen. Just look at Teresa's face. You'll recall the former friends decided to give things another go when Teresa got out of prison, but things quickly soured when a dinner party between the Lauritas and the Giudices never got passed the appetizer stage. The past couldn't stay in the past.

Jacqueline decides she'll take the basement room to "do whatever."

"Maybe I'll throw her down the stairs," Teresa jokes.

Siggy, ever the fixer, takes it upon herself to reintroduce the one-time Lucy and Ethel.

"I don't know if you remember me," Teresa says, "but we go way back."

Jacqueline says she'll "speak when spoken to." "Meaning if Teresa is friendly with me, I will be friendly with her," she says.

It looks like the reintroduction does well because the group settles down for dinner and dessert and Teresa and Jacqueline are next to each other without having to be bound together and they even have a good laugh at Teresa getting chocolate all over her bum…until Jacqueline decides the ladies need to stop whispering.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sundays, 8 p.m. on Bravo.

(E! and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
