Happily Ever After...with Chad Johnson?!

Fresh off his infamous reign of terror on Bachelor in Paradise after stirring up drama in the house on The Bachelorette, Chad Johnson is making his return to reality TV...and staying in Bachelor Nation. Chad, 28, is set to make an appearance on The Bachelor fan-favorite couple Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell's new reality TV series for Freeform, Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?, E ! News has confirmed. There are no details yet on what Bad Chad will be up to when he visits the happy couple in Denver, but the couple first met the polarizing contestant at the After the Final Rose taping on Aug. 1.

ET first reported the news of Chad's appearance on the show.

The reality series will focus on Ben and Lauren living in Denver as they navigate their relationship post-Bachelor and start planning for their wedding. And while fans may think they have the picture-perfect life, Lauren told E! News at the launch of her new lifestyle blog, Sparkle in her Eye, that she and Ben want to make sure their show documents the high and the lows.

"We haven't necessarily set any specific boundaries. We did talk about what we do want from the show, and we just don't want it to be our highs," she said. "We don't want it to be all just happy and go-lucky, we really want it to be real, and with that, Ben and I are human beings, we have our downs, we have our arguments. I don't want any of our struggles to be censored. I want it to be very real. That's the conversation we've had. We just really want to be ourselves and not feel like we have to censor ourselves or be different than we who are just because they're are cameras around."

Lauren added that people will be "surprised" to see just how normal the couple is, explaining  that because of social media, fans sometimes forget they're "real people." And the couple is hoping Happily Ever After? will help viewers see them without the Instagram-filtered glasses. "You see our life and see our tiny one bedroom-one bathroom house, us needing a new toilet, and bathroom problems, and things going wrong in the house, and doing yard work" she said. "We're very normal!"

Aside from home renovations and wedding planning, fans can expect to see some other Bachelor Nation alumni in addition to Chad, appear on the show. When we spoke with Ben and Lauren after their new show was announced, Lauren said, "Ben and I through this whole process have made really good friendships...that's what's really exciting about this whole opportunity is that it's going to be different from The Bachelor in that our friends can be involved, our families, and obviously since we do have friends that are from The Bachelor hopefully there will be some familiar faces."

In the press release announcing the show's premiere date, Freeform revealed fan favorites from the franchise will stop by to visit and share their own advice on life after the show. But we're pretty sure Ben and Lauren should be the ones offering advice to The Chad, no?

Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? will premiere on Oct. 11 on Freeform.
