Watch: Luke and Chase Sound Off on Becoming the Next "Bachelor"

Watch out, Luke Pell and Chase McNary!

While the two men, who made it during the final four during JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette, are in the running to be the next Bachelor, with sources telling E! News Luke is the frontrunner to land the gig, another contestant is throwing his name in the ring: Bachelor in Paradise's Daniel Maguire. Yes, resident Canadian and maple syrup/belly button aficionado "Damn Daniel" is down to the be the Bachelor...if he hasn't already found love on BIP, that is.

"100 percent I'd become the Bachelor if I was asked, that is if I'm still single after this season, because I think I'm the most realistic regular guy out there," told reporters on a conference call on Thursday. "I think I'd make a great Bachelor...people want real, people want entertaining, people want me."

Calling out some of the other contestants on the show as "fake" for immediately falling in love, Daniel said viewers like him for always being honest. Sometimes brutally so. "Most guys, they talk like how I would," he reasoned. "Obviously, I'm a little more extreme, I joke around a little bit more, but that's why so many regular guys watch the show and love me. They're like, 'Oh, my girlfriend got me to watch and I love you because you tell the truth, you tell it how it is, you speak what's on your mind.'"

And as people get to know him more on BIP, thanks to his dates with Sarah Herron and Ashley Iaconetti, Daniel said, "I think I'm a great catch as well, and that's just my personal opinion on it. Obviously, everyone has a different opinion on it." He later added, "I'm not all fun and games and not all jokes. I have a serious side as well, an intellectual side as well."

Daniel also wasn't afraid to say he how he felt about Luke becoming ABC's new leading man, saying, "He's a great guy and everything, but you might as well put it on mute because that's how boring it is, you know?"

But he didn't stop there, adding he'd rather see Chad Johnson, the polarizing villain of The Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise, as the next Bach over a "boring" guy like Luke.

"I'd rather have Chad be the Bachelor, because at least it's going to be entertaining and real," Daniel said. "He's not going to fall in love with every single right off the bat, he's not going to be like, 'Oh, she's perfect, she's perfect, and she's perfect.' At least he can have fun with it and what not."

Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
