Is it just us or does Pretty Little Liars seem scarier than ever?
The first trailer for the seventh and possible final season is here, and it's no walk in the park. Everyone's screaming, crying, gravedigging, and murdering people?!
It seems that Hanna's still missing, and Alison is still being tormented, and Hanna is still in desperate need of being saved.
In case you've forgotten, the season six finale ended with the revelation that Mrs. DiLaurentis' twin (and Charlotte's real mother) had been the one sending the girls death threats, with help from Alison's not-so-nice husband, Rollins. While Ali checked herself into a mental hospital after thinking she'd been hallucinating her dead mother, Hanna got pulled through a hole in the floor and was last seen being dragged through the church with flowers laid on her chest.
It kind of looks like this potentially final season is non-stop action and terror, and we simultaneously can't wait and can probably wait quite a while. Will all the girls survive the season? Will they defeat Uber A (also known as A.D.)? We don't know, and we're scared to find out.
Literally the only thing that comforted us in that trailer was Ezra holding Aria, but we're not really feeling all that comforted.
Pretty Little Liars returns Tuesday, June 21 at 8 p.m. on Freeform.
