Does anyone remember the horrendous spaghetti recipe (called "sketti) from Here Comes Honey Boo Boo? Wait, scratch that. Does anyone remember the show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo?

Well back in the day, Mama June used to make a special dish that her kids loved, and it had three ingredients: dried spaghetti, ketchup and butter. Sounds kind of vomit-inducing, doesn't it? Well, we thought so, too, until a professional cook made the dish himself and discovered that it's actually pretty good.

Eater enlisted the talents of New York chef Daniel Holzman to recreate Honey Boo Boo's favorite meal on their "Real Chefs Cook Dumb Recipes" series. He kept it all very authentic, right down to the brand of ketchup. And even though most trained chefs would boil dried pasta for only about 8 to 10 minutes, Mama June cooked the spaghetti in boiling water for a good 20 minutes, so that's what he did. You know, to keep to tradition.

The result? Apparently it was delicious enough for Holzman to slurp the noodles up with vigor. And now your appetite is probably gone for the rest of the day. Or is it?
