If you were secretly hoping that Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting's divorce announcement was just a cruel joke, then we have some bad news for you.

E! News has obtained the divorce petition filed Sept. 25 in L.A. Superior Court by the Big Bang Theory actress after nearly 21 months of marriage. Cuoco cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

The court documents also list Sept. 3 as the date of separation and reveal that a prenuptial agreement was signed on Nov. 20, 2013; no details concerning what that agreement entails have been released.

Whatever the pair agreed upon before marriage will dictate Cuoco's spousal support payments to Sweeting and how they will divide their assets.

"Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage," Cuoco's rep told us on Friday. "They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter."

The 29-year-old actress and the tennis player wed on Dec. 31, 2013.

Following the big announcement, Cuoco spent the weekend with family and friends, indulging in a few of her favorite activities with some of her favorite people.

The celeb—who recently added a horse named Zaza to her family—even made one of her lifelong dreams come true! On Saturday, she competed in a horse-jumping event at the Flintridge Autumn Classic in La Cañada Flintridge, Calif.

"Never felt so happy !!!" she captioned the action photo. "Thank you #fieldstone , Michelle , @twgoldberg @zoeypacyna @peteyleo and all our friends and family that came and cheered us on last night. I've never felt more surrounded by love."

On Sunday, Cuoco stayed busy by hanging out with her best friends and their daughters at an event for the Bryan Brothers Foundation.
