Sorry, Pope Francis, but you've officially been overshadowed.

We introduce you, the readers, to the best part of His Holiness' U.S. visit: Baby Pope. What you're looking at is a real, live baby dressed as the pope, meeting the real, live pope. We'll pause to let your hearts and minds explode.

It all went down like this: Daniel Madden, the father of aforementioned Baby Pope, had planned to hit this weekend's papal parade in Philadelphia. But he and his wife Dana had a genius idea: Bring their baby daughter Quinn along for the event. Even better: Bring Quinn, and dress her in a teeny, tiny pope costume. Because why else do you have a baby if not to dress them like tiny religious men?

They arrived to the parade and secured a front-row position for prime Baby Pope sightings. As Francis rounded the corner with his security team, they made sure to hoist baby Quinn up in the air in the hopes that real guy would catch a glimpse. Well, catch a glimpse he did.

As you can see in the video, Francis got quite the kick out of his mini-me—so much so that he summoned one of his security team to bring the baby over to the papal vehicle for a quick photo opp (and a blessing, of course). He even whispered a secret message to his staffer to relay to Quinn's parents when he brought her back. As Daniel told Philly's ABC 6, Pope Francis wanted the parents to know that he thought they had a great sense of humor. #Winning.

The only real tragedy is that little Quinn will probably never remember her brush with fame, but luckily she has the accompanying video (and this fawning post) to relive her glory days. Enjoy it while it lasts, Quinn, because after you've been twinsies with the pope it's only downhill from here.
