The teeny, tiny brown ribbed t-shirt dress hugged all of Simpson's infamous curves, while the hem was short enough to fawn over her muscular legs.
Paired with some signature sunglasses, giant hoop earrings, a cross-body fringe bag, a messy pony, and a pair of brown suede platform lace-up pumps, the look was reminiscent of some old-school 1970s glamour á la blonde disco bombshell Jerry Hall.
All Simpson needs is a light-up dance floor and she's ready to boogie!
The Billboard chart-topping singer got into tip-top shape following the birth of her two children, Maxwell, 3, and Ace, 2, as a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers. The Dukes of Hazard actress stepped out last year after reportedly shedding nearly 70 pounds! Admitting to some indulging during her pregnancies, Simpson revealed she was lacking self-esteem once she got back onto the scale.
"I was so insecure—I couldn't even believe what I weighed," she said on Good Morning America back in February. "I don't think that I ever expected myself to see the numbers that I have seen on the scale."
While she was hounded by constant critiques of her pregnant physique, Simpson credits those attacks with empowering her to be a role model for other mothers dealing with similar struggles.
Thankfully, the country crooner seems far more comfortable in her skin these days—a sentiment that also seems to have translated to her love life. Simpson was recently caught gushing over husband Johnson on Instagram in celebration of the football player's 36th birthday.
"My husband is hotter than yours! Happy Birthday Eric Maxwell Johnson!" the singer wrote on Instagram with a black and white photo of Johnson wearing an unbuttoned shirt. "You forever make me lust."
Judging by the looks of this latest shot of Simpson, Johnson feels the exact same way.
