Hero Rat Just Wants to Enjoy Some Pizza on the Subway After a Long Day at Work

He's had a long day, okay?

Rats, they're just like us!

They get up in the morning, they go to work, they toil along in front of the computer for hours on end and at the end of the day they just want to relax and unwind with a darn slice of pizza. But for some reason, New York City, that ungrateful pest of a city, seems to want to do everything to keep you from having an easy commute home.

Take this particular intrepid vermin. He's already made it past the hard part: Finding a piece of pizza on the floor of a subway station. And now that he has said cheesy goodness in his possession, he just wants to be able to enjoy it in private—and not on the stairs, where he/the pizza may get stepped on. Is that too much to ask?

No, no it is not.

To add insult to injury for the poor guy, his fellow subway riders are just standing around taking videos of his failures instead of offering a helping hand. It's like the humiliating feeling you get when the bottom of your grocery bag rips and instead of stopping to help, passerby simply step right over your now-ruined bundles of kale. Way to not be a good samaritan, person manning the video camera.

Here's hoping this intrepid New Yorker soon gets the pizza he deserves.
