Getty ImagesIt's hard to say goodbye to New York Fashion Week, but happily we still have yesterday's finale shows to fawn over before it's all said seen and done.
Our final-day highlights include pieces harking to classic Americana (but of course) at Ralph Lauren, while J. Mendel put forth a streamlined show featuring monochrome separates and watercolor crop top and skirt combos.
Calvin Klein, meanwhile, made slim-fitting dresses even slinkier this season (some might even warrant the term "slip"). And finally, Marc Jacobs shut down the entire NYFW operation with a collection that took Ralph Lauren's nod to the good ol' U. S. of A. up about, oh, 50 or so notches. The designer's flashy, flag-inspired separates were an ode to the country, to the people and, of course, to New York.
