SPOT/AKM-GSIIt was just last month that Megan Fox filed for divorce from Brian Austin Green after five years of marriage, and based on the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star's shirt, her ex doesn't seem to be dealing all that well with the breakup.
The 42-year-old actor was spotted in Los Angeles Monday wearing a tank top with the words "Life Hurts" printed across the chest. Green's shirt sent a somber message, clearly, but he hasn't stopped wearing his wedding ring just yet.
Actually, since 29-year-old Fox filed for divorce, Green has been spotted on multiple occasions still wearing his band. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 star, however, has not been wearing hers.
Many fans of the former couple were shocked by their split, but the relationship had been rocky prior to their separation. Green and Fox previously got engaged in 2006, called it off in 2009, and then got engaged in 2010. They said "I do" later that year and went on to have two sons together, 2-year-old Noah and 19-month-old Bodhi; Green also has a son, 13-year-old Kassius, from a previous relationship.
So what went wrong with the marriage? "Megan and Brian's split is a classic Hollywood story of two people in different stages of life and career," a source close to the actress explained to People, adding, "Megan is young and hot and sought after for work, and she is eager to move ahead in her career. Brian wants more of her time than she can allow."
"She was overwhelmed with the children and her husband's expectations, which got in the way of work responsibilities," added the source. "They had many disagreements and arguments about her time at home, which led to problems."
