She and Empire co-star Trai Byers, who plays Terrence Howard's character Lucious Lyon's son Andre on the FOX show, shocked a lot of fans earlier this year when they sparked dating rumors and even more months later, when they got engaged.
In recent weeks, Gealey, who plays Lyon's ex Anika, has been showing off a giant halo diamond ring with an eternity band. She wore it on Saturday while walking the red carpet with her fiancé at a pre-launch party for season 2 of Empire, held at Saks Fifth Avenue's flagship store in New York.
The retailer had partnered with FOX to create Empire-themed windows at its shops in the city and Beverly Hills, California, until Oct. 7, and is also selling Empire-inspired fashion collections, with brands such as Jimmy Choo and Cushnie Et Ochs.
Gealey also sported her ring on Friday, when she attended New York Fashion Week spring 2016 festivities. She hung out with co-star Kaitlyn Doubleday, who plays Andre's wife Rhonda at the Cushnie the Et Ochs show.
Byers popped the question and gave Gealey the ring this past summer. They celebrated their engagement at her surprise 31st birthday party in Chicago in late July.
Gealey debuted her engagement ring in public several weeks later. She wore it while attending Birchbox's Road Trip Chicago Pop Up Shop event with Doubleday in Chicago in mid-August.
