Welcome to late night, Mr. Donald Trump.
The Republican frontrunner may be preparing for another presidential debate this coming Wednesday in California. Before facing his opponents, however, the real estate mogul decided to stop by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for his first late-night appearance since announcing his campaign.
Things started off with a nearly six-minute sketch that featured Jimmy Fallon dressed up as Trump interviewing Trump.
"Let's be honest, Fallon's a lightweight. No way he deserves to interview me," Fallon joked while in character. "The only one qualified to interview me…is me."
The real Trump replied, "Me interviewing me? That's what I call a great idea."
All jokes aside, Fallon later sat down with Trump for a "real" interview that tried to include some hard-hitting topics including Hillary Clinton's email scandal and Carly Fiorina's place in the debate.
"You dig yourself in a hole, and instead of getting yourself out of the hole, you just keep digging," Fallon explained. "You go up there with no notes. What do you do? Do you just make up stuff? How do you remember numbers?"
"I'm blessed with a great memory," Trump explained. "When you do it just off the cuff, it's a riskier thing, but when you get it right, it's a thing of beauty."
Before the interview came to an end, Fallon asked the former Celebrity Apprentice host if there was anything he would like to apologize for. It's safe to say Friday night wasn't the night.
"I think apologizing's a great thing, but you have to be wrong," Trump said. "I will absolutely apologize, sometime in the hopefully distant future, if I'm ever wrong."
And in case you're wondering, Variety reports that Friday's Tonight Show had its highest ratings for a Friday broadcast in 18 months.
