The "Just Give Me a Reason" crooner rang in her 36th birthday in New York City Tuesday, where she was spotted meeting and greeting fans. Some even gave the entertainer a couple of birthday presents. Pink, whose name is Alecia Beth Moore, spent part of her big day with her daughter Willow. Although she's only four years old, she has already figured out the perfect present for her mama: hairstyling!
Presents aside, Pink is quite the hairdresser! That braid is pretty much perfect, and she even got funky with the top of it. Talk about hidden talents. Seeing Willow is her mother's mini-me, we're going to guess that the tiny tot inherited some of her mom's talents.
The "Try" singer seems to be having an incredible birthday, even though it comes only a few days after she criticized some A-listers following MTV's VMAs. She slammed Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato for not using their music to promote helpful messages, but the "Cool for the Summer" singer fought back on Twitter.
"Cool For The Summer may not 'save kid's lives' or 'inspire,'" Lovato tweeted Sept. 4, "but I'd say Skyscraper & Warrior have done a pretty good job of helping people cope with mental illness. VMA's are sexy and fun. There's a time and place for everything."
Following the backlash, Pink said she didn't mean to offend anyone but stood by her strong opinions. "Please look for a feud elsewhere. I have no issue with Demi Lovato or anyone else. I actually forgot she performed. I have opinions. MANY," she told her followers, adding, "I stand by what I said. However, I didn't intend for the angry people of the world to latch on and make it into something it isn't. Peace."
Clearly she was able to move past the short-lived Twitter feud as she was all smiles celebrating her big day. Happy birthday, Pink!
