Mama Petrelli's back!

Heroes Reborn is slowly turning into a reunion of all our favorite Heroes characters and we are not mad about it. E! News can exclusively reveal that Cristine Rose is set to reprise her iconic role as Angela Petrelli in a guest starring arc on the rebooted NBC event series.

Fans will remember Rose's villainous character as the mother of Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) and Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia), who has the ability to see into the future and the past through dreams, and can also enter and manipulate other people's dreams. She was determined to see one of her sons become a powerful leader...no matter the cost.

But will her sons join her for Heroes Reborn?

"I got a new show on Monday nights called The Whispers and I'm focused on that," Milo Ventimiglia told us at the big Gilmore Girls reunion panel at the 2015 ATX TV Festival, confirming he definitely will not be returning for the reboot.

And it's not just the Heroes reboot that Ventimiglia probably wouldn't return for, as he also expressed concern about a potential Gilmore Girls reunion. "I think it's kind of in the zeitgeist to revive everything and I don't know how good that is because it takes away from that lightning in the bottle moment where you're in that period of life where you're watching something for the first time and you're experiencing it all that," he said. "So to revisit things, it's like revisiting past relationships or something. It's like, no, you are who you are nowadays."

Rose isn't the only fan-favorite Heroes star returning to reprise a role on the new event series. Jack Coleman is set to play H.R.G. again, Masi Oka is returning to his roots to play Hiro Nakamura once more, and Greg Grunberg, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Jimmy Jean-Louis and Noah Gray-Cabey are also returning. New cast members joining the Heroes family in Heroes Reborn are Zachary LeviRyan GuzmanRobbie KayDanika YaroshJudith ShekoniKiki SukezaneHenry Zebrowski and Gatlin Green

The series comes from executive producers Tim Kring, James Middleton and Peter Elkoff and "chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover that they possess extraordinary abilities." It will run for 13 episodes and will feature a brand-new story and set of characters.

Heroes Reborn is set to debut this fall.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
