Giddy up with these three easy-to-make drinks!

We acknowledge preparing for the Kentucky Derby is no easy feat, from coordinating your regalia to deciding which contender to place your bets on! And if you're hosting a party for the event—well, that's a whole 'nother bit of stress in and of itself. 

But have no fear, E!'s Alicia Quarles visited Maysville in New York to bring you some Southern-inspired drink recipes to get ready for this year's derby.

So forget the mint juleps because this year and let's find out what else we can do with our bourbon.

Drink 1: The Old Fashion

Sugared cube

Two kinds of Peychaud's bitters

2 oz. of Pinhook

Add an orange twist and finish it off with a cherry!

Drink 2: The Sazerack

2 oz. of Pinhook

A half oz. of simple syrup

Four dashes of Peychaud's bitters

A spritz of absinthe

And a lemon twist!

Drink 3: Nor'easter

Bourbon

Maple Syrup

Lime juice

Shake and top it off with ginger beer and a lime!
