The 20-year-old model, who celebrated her birthday less than one week ago, was photographed on Wednesday in NYC, where she was busy at work on a photo shoot.
And naturally, the paps were out in full force as the gorgeous stunner strutted her stuff through the Big Apple streets, so of course the photogs happened to snap a pic when Hadid suffered a wardrobe malfunction, thanks to the super-high slit in her slinky wrap dress.

Luckily, the blond beauty was sporting what appeared to be a pair of flesh-colored undies, stopping her fashion snafu from becoming rather X-rated. And with the exception of the minor malfunction, the model's overall look was absolute perfection, as she teamed the sexy dress with thigh-high boots and a hot pink Chanel handbag.
This isn't the first time that Gigi, whose modeling career continues to heat up by moment, has suffered a fashion mishap. In fact, she nearly lost her bikini top during a past Sports Illustrated shoot thanks to a very friendly (and aggressive?) horse.
"I shot with a horse and he was following me on the beach…and he untied my bathing suit!" she revealed in February to BuzzFeed. "I caught it in time, though."
